About the stone

White Topaz, colorless and clear, is actually the most common form of topaz in nature.

Most colored topaz varieties begin as white topaz.

It is an aluminum and fluorine silicate that grows in large, very clear crystals within pegmatites.

Its very clarity has led to famous mix-ups: the great 'Braganza diamond' in the Portuguese crown, over 1600 carats, is now believed to have been, in fact, a colorless topaz.

Over time, white topaz has often been an elegant, more accessible alternative to diamond.

Being colorless, it lets light pass freely and sparkles subtly with every move.
