FAQ
What is the SummerScape Anklet collection?
They are anklets from the SummerScape collection, the quintessential summer accessory. They showcase stones chosen for their serene hues — moonstone, aquamarine, amazonite, tourmaline, lapis lazuli, and black spinel — delicately set on a fine sterling silver chain. They are dainty, minimalist pieces designed for warm days, sandals, and the beach.
How do I choose the right size for an anklet?
Measure your ankle circumference with a tailor’s tape or a string that you then measure with a ruler, adding a little room for comfort. Many styles have an extender chain with extra links that lets you adjust by a few centimeters. If you’re unsure, choose a length toward the upper end — an anklet should sit loosely, not tight.
What are they made of and what’s the Golden difference?
They are made of 925 Sterling Silver (92.5% silver), with Golden variants plated with a layer of gold of about 2 microns, for the warm hue. The stones are natural, with authenticity confirmed through batch-level certification. Indira does not use titanium or nickel.
Can I wear them at the beach or in the pool?
We recommend taking them off before going into the water. Saltwater and pool chlorine can affect both silver and more porous natural stones, and rubbing against sand can scratch the plating. Wear the anklet on the beach, but take it off for swimming — this way it keeps its shine much longer.
How do I care for the anklet and its stones?
Keep it away from perfume, lotion, water, and prolonged sun; softer stones like moonstone and amazonite are sensitive. Wipe it with a soft cloth after wear. Silver can naturally oxidize over time — this isn’t a defect and it’s easy to clean. The gold plating may gradually fade with wear, which is normal.
How do you wear it and what does it pair with?
An anklet is worn in plain sight, with sandals or barefoot on the beach, and adds a feminine accent to summer outfits. It pairs beautifully with the SummerScape necklace, featuring the same serene stones, for a cohesive set. Every order includes the warranty certificate and you have returns within 30 days.
