    Care

A lab-grown diamond is a genuine diamond — the very same crystallized carbon, with the same structure, brilliance, and maximum hardness of 10, just like a natural diamond.

The difference isn’t in the stone, but in its origin: instead of billions of years underground, it’s grown in a few weeks under controlled conditions.

It’s created in two ways: either under high pressure and high temperature (HPHT), which mimics the Earth’s mantle, or by gas deposition in a plasma reactor (CVD), atom by atom, starting from a small diamond “seed.”

The difference between a lab-grown diamond and a natural one can be determined only by a specialized laboratory — to the eye, they are identical.

It’s the choice of a generation that values provenance. Leonardo DiCaprio, after his role in the film “Blood Diamond,” invested in Diamond Foundry, the largest American producer of lab-grown diamonds — as a response to the problem of “blood diamonds.”

More and more celebrities and jewelry houses are choosing these stones today for their ethical message and transparency of origin.

The most prized is colorless, but it can also be grown in fancy hues, from yellow to pink or blue.

It has the same brilliance and the same “fire” as a mined diamond, at a price usually more affordable for the same size.

It’s a contemporary, responsible choice, without the environmental impact of traditional mining.

Like its natural “sibling,” it symbolizes lasting love and purity — with added transparency around origin. Diamond is the birthstone of April.

With a maximum hardness of 10, it stands up beautifully to everyday wear, requiring only that you avoid sharp blows to the edges.

It cleans easily with a microfiber cloth and is beautifully showcased in 925 silver, white gold, and yellow gold.
