The 925 hallmark denotes Sterling silver, an alloy with 92,5% pure silver and 7,5% other metals that add strength. It’s the international standard for fine silver jewelry and, at Indira, it’s certified to EU standards.
Is 925 silver hypoallergenic?
For most people, yes. Being 92,5% pure silver, 925 Sterling silver is well tolerated and suitable for everyday wear, including by those with sensitive skin. At Indira you won’t find titanium or common metals hidden under plating.
Why does silver tarnish and how do I clean it?
